The Content Channel – A happy second pair of eyes.
We regularly see new and growing businesses with beautiful products, genuine expertise and real care being taken over the product or service itself. Great! But what happens when the communication doesn’t match up? Perhaps the website or some associated content has a typo in the first line. It doesn’t just look sloppy. It quietly tells the reader “If we missed this, what else did we miss?”
Nobody reads their own work objectively. You know what you meant to say, so your brain fills in the gaps and shows you that instead of what’s actually there on the page. This is just how reading your own writing works. Everyone needs a second pair of eyes, including people who do this for a living.
The most reliable fix is having someone else’s eyes on it before it goes out. For some this is literally to make sure you’ve dotted the ‘i’s and crossed the ‘t’s. For others, it’s a more holistic check to ensure that tone and context is consistent too. Both are examples of the kind of thing we can do for you, leaving you to focus on what you do best.
